HAVE WALLS, WILL TRAVEL : Snyder Lands A Right Hook On Spaulding!

When you think of someone who loves what they do and will stop at nothing to get their work out to the world, Bryan Snyder encapsulates that and then some. Snyder travels through out the world painting on the streets. Sometimes he paints his popular character Doodle. He created Doodle as a kid. Doodle at times takes the shape of the people in his life and he uses doodle to tell the story of his experiences through out the years. Other times he uses images of hope, happiness, humor and history to brighten up a neighborhood and at times help educate people on the current street art movement.
Bryan, a Carlsbad native, travels 2hrs each way, two or three times a month to paint, paste and install his art on the streets of Los Angeles. He thrives off the energy of the art world here and is a major contributor to the Los Angeles street art movement. There is always a message in his work and much attention to detail in every piece he puts on the urban landscape.

His most recent visit to LA gave us this mural, "Doodle's Black Eye". It is Located on Spaulding just North of Melrose. Here are a few progress shots.

  1. While touring scenic Morgan County, you can visit nationally and regionally known artists in their studios. You'll see contemporary and traditional art and fine crafts in many different media, the Artists will be demonstrating and describing the processes they use to create their work. candy paint
